Welcome to Forest and to the “Woodside Estates Subdivision” which is on the east side of Main Street South in the southside of the village. The builder here is “Wellington Builders”. On the west side of Main Street South is the “Forest Golf Club and Inn” and just north of it is the “Esli Dodge Playground/Conservation Area” at 88 Main Street South. Guess what? Forest, population around three thousand people, like Exeter 59km away, has a history of fruit canning and farming. It is 14.3km or 13 minutes away by car from Ipperwash Beach. That’s not too far to go in the summer for an evening dip. Sarnia is 45.7km away or twenty-nine minutes by car. Just take Main Street South (Forest Road) to the 402 Highway (where the speed limit is 110km). Many people in this area cross the Bluewater Bridge regularly to shop in Port Huron to the South.
